Doesn’t Christmas give you the feeling of sparkles all around? It does, right? Me too! I’m so looking forward to Christmas this year.
I’m really looking forward to seeing mummy, daddy, receiving presents, giving presents, mending and building relationships.
In fact, what I’m looking forward to this Christmas is my Family. It’s been nearly one year since we had everyone together in the house. Yes, I fight with my sister and brother a lot but for some reason, I can’t wait to see them for Christmas so that we can fight again.
I can already imagine how the red, green, and gold colors would design our house and the church with my mummy flexing her chef skills and my daddy deafening us with his boring and cringey playlist that eventually puts me to sleep.
I can’t wait to annoy my sister who hates that I exist and my brother who’s on the other side of the world.
I just can’t wait for the laughter, the joy;
Gosh!!! I can’t wait for Christmas.
You know, my family just seems to be medicine to a lot of things. Well, I’ve tasted it and it is to me. No matter what happens in the family, love never leaves, it’s always there and that’s what makes us family. Those times spent with family can’t be traded for anything, it could be a movie night, game night, the restless Christmas eve, the fights, a family meeting to settle fights; these moments are priceless.
It may sound impossible but all the memories with my family are forever with me.
Our families deserve so much, let’s make them feel loved, cherished, let’s be their unforgettable figures, let’s spoil them and appreciate them, they deserve it.
I’ve promised myself to get a present for everyone at home and I have decided to settle for the holly hamper from the hamper shop that literally has different items for every family member.
I can already imagine the prayers from mummy, the smile on daddy’s face, my annoying sisters’ hugs and kisses, and the thought of it alone makes me giddy.
